Fishing Regulations (Alberta)

It is important for anglers fishing in southern Alberta to be familiar with the regulations on the rivers, streams and lakes. Be sure you pick up a copy of the Alberta Guide to Sport fishing Regulations when you purchase your fishing license. Angling licenses are available at all Fish and Wildlife offices, and at many sporting goods, hardware, department stores and service stations.

Note: a separate national Parks license is required when fishing in National Parks such as Waterton Lakes, Banff and Jasper.
