Oct  1998 . I gave Curtis a call and we went to Tobin. We had a great day and it was very nice out for that time of year . We had caught a lot of fish  and decided to troll our way back to the boat launch. We had not gone very far when Curtis got a hit. When we pulled the fish in we were both very excited , it was huge!
Before we headed to the launch for the photo , I decided to go back around and troll through there one more time. On the second pass I got a hit  and when we pulled it up, it was a monster. Curtis's fish weight in at 10 lbs and mine at 12.2.  Both were caught on crank baits.
We left the fish in the live well , and loaded the boat, and drove it up to the street light to take pictures . After the photos we put the fish back in the live well and drove the boat back to the water to release the fish. It was a rare pleasure watching those fish swim away ! This was the best ending to a fishing trip that I have ever had .
Curtis and I had both had a great day and we both caught the biggest walleyes of our lives. What a day , made a new friend , caught lots of fish , got my biggest fish ever , beautiful weather and  got to watch those big fish swim away ! Can't wait to see how God tops that one! Needless to say I am looking forward to this years fishing season!
